Almost fifteen years ago, some of the tall palm trees surrounding Spaceship Earth at EPCOT were replaced with shorter trees. The area has now been restored to its old look with the return of tall palm trees. The new trees have been planted on both sides of the EPCOT icon. The trees line the Spaceship Earth exterior queue. Some green construction tarp remains up around part of the queue, behind the trees. Fireworks shows and nighttime spectaculars have returned to Walt Disney World, with Happily Ever After, EPCOT Forever, and Wonderful World of Animation now all performing. The Donut Box at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival has two new donuts as part of the kiosk’s rotating menu of chef’s choices.
