Daisy’s Dig: New ‘Cool Kid Summer’ Offering at Restaurantosaurus

A new Cool Kid Summer offering has debuted at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Daisy’s Dig at Restaurantosaurus invites guests inside The Hip Joint room at the DinoLand quick-service location to hang out with Daisy Duck. In addition to some much-needed air conditioning, guests can find coloring activities and Daisy Duck wandering around, happy to interact and maybe even do some coloring herself. We made it out to Disney’s Animal Kingdom recently to check out the new offering. Daisy’s Dig at Restaurantosaurus Daisy is one lucky duck. She’s ditched her outdoor meet-and-greet area for an inside hangout. Signage outside of the Pterodactyl Pterrace informs guests of the offering. When we visited, there were also Cast Members inviting guests inside to meet with Daisy. Once inside, we found that Daisy Duck and the activities team have taken over The Hip Joint – one of the many themed rooms within Restaurantosaurus. As the story goes, Dino Institute interns would use this room to play games during their free time. We can find a badminton net hanging above us (along with some lodged shuttlecocks), a dart board (sort of), a basketball hoop, and more. This entire room is utilized for the Daisy’s Dig offering. Guests can either pick a character to color from a station, or find some characters and crayons ready for them at the tables. Daisy Duck wanders the room, interacting with a group at a time, sort of like what you might find

Crash Stops Test Track 3.0 Previews at EPCOT, Injuries Confirmed

On Monday, four people were injured in an accident during a Disney cast member preview of the 3.0 version of Test Track at EPCOT. One of the special effects involved in the collision has been turned off since then. Test Track 2.0 (sponsored by Chevrolet) closed in the summer of 2024 to make way for its third refresh in almost three decades of operation at EPCOT. Disney cast member previews of the reimagined World Discovery attraction recently began, and the feedback is overwhelmingly positive. A realistic pine scent in the air homages vintage EPCOT, and the ride vehicles have been given a much-needed futuristic paint job. The attraction is once again sponsored by General Motors (GM), as was its first iteration (even though GM owns Chevrolet, many fans missed the vintage GM signage). Unfortunately, some of the first negative news about Test Track 3.0 came out on Tuesday afternoon. BlogMickey has confirmed that on June 30, a Test Track ride vehicle impacted the foam doors that open to reveal the outdoor part of the attraction, as shown in the promotional image below: Credit: Disney According to reports, the foam doors failed to open, and the ride vehicle crashed into them. Four guests were treated on the scene for injuries sustained in the collision, but no one was hospitalized. The foam doors are

Insider Info: The Latest on New ‘Ghostbusters’ Ride at Universal Orlando

Something strange is happening in the New York section of Universal Studios Florida—but this time, nobody’s scared. In fact, fans are downright hopeful. After months of rumors and speculation, it looks like Universal Orlando is finally making moves on what many believe is a brand-new Ghostbusters-themed attraction. And no, you’re not imagining it. The construction walls are up, and the clues are just too good to ignore. Credit: Sony Pictures A Ghostbusters Ride? Yes, Please. Let’s start with what we know. Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, the towering coaster that’s been twisting and turning above Universal for over 15 years, is officially on its way out. Universal confirmed its closure date for August 18, 2025, and permits have already been filed to demolish the coaster and build something new in its place—a massive two-story building, to be exact. Now, here’s where things get exciting. Construction walls went up around the old Ghostbusters Firehouse facade, which was once part of the Ghostbusters Spooktacular show back in the 90s. These walls aren’t just your typical “Pardon Our Pixie Dust”-style barriers either. They’re themed specifically to look like the Firehouse is undergoing a “restoration.” That word choice—restoration—has fans raising their eyebrows and crossing their proton streams in hope. As soon as the themed walls went up, social media exploded with theories. From posts like “GHOSTBUSTERS COASTER WE WON” to others comparing the reveal to how Universal teased
