The construction walls that previously surrounded the “Storytellers” statue have now been removed at Disney California Adventure.
‘Storytellers’ Statue Now Visible Again

After being concealed behind construction walls for a few days, the bronze “Storytellers” statue was now visible again. It depicts a 1920s version of Walt Disney next to Mickey Mouse standing on a suitcase. The statue and surrounding plaques appear to be unchanged, so the bronze was likely just being retouched. Many guests pose with the statue for photos, creating worn areas on parts of the statue, so it requires occasional refinishing work.
