Things are moving pretty quickly over at the former Muppets Courtyard as the area is transformed into a Monsters Inc.-themed land. Following the complete demolition of the former Muppets gift shop, work seems to be intensely focused on the former Cast Member parking lot where a new Monsters Inc. roller coaster will be built. Foundation Drilling Rig at Disney’s Hollywood Studios A tall, multifunction foundation drilling rig can now be seen in what appears to be the backstage parking lot where a new Monsters Inc. roller coaster will be built. The equipment appears to be a FUNDEX F2800, or something similar. FUNDEX describes the F2800 as a medium-sized and powerful model in the range of Fundex Equipment multifunctional foundation rigs. The F2800 can be used for various drilling and pile driving techniques such as soil mixing, sheet pile push pull system and vibratory hammers. Perhaps relevant to our interests is that FUNDEX shows the F2800 on a construction site where a roller coaster is being built as part of their promotional material. Without a better look at the actual work the equipment is performing, it’s too early to say for sure that the work is for roller coaster footers specifically, but it’s possible. Even if the work isn’t for the roller coaster footers, it’s very likely that it is for work related to the roller coaster in some capacity. It’s possible that the work could be for the building or other support elements. We’re not

. New closures and construction walls means it’s time for a new park map at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. While visiting the park this morning, we already took you on a photo tour of the closed Boneyard playground and through the maze of new construction walls. Now, it’s time to take a look at the updated Animal Kingdom park map that highlights those changes. New Animal Kingdom Park Map (September 2025) The biggest change is that The Boneyard has been removed from the inside of the map, but let’s not blow by the cute Nigerian Dwarf Goats that now grace the front cover of the park map. If you’re looking to see this guy and others, head over to the Kilimanjaro Safaris attraction in Africa. Here’s an expanded view of the new Animal Kingdom map. Almost everything stays the same except for the goat on the front cover and the removal of The Boneyard inside the map. Good morning from Disney’s Animal Kingdom, where the next phase of the DinoLand USA extinction has taken place overnight. As previously announced, yesterday was the final day for guests to experience The Boneyard, a large excavation-themed playground in DinoLand USA. The Boneyard is actually closing earlier than expected after Disney said that Imagineers are making great progress on the new Tropical Americas-themed land replacing DinoLand USA. The Boneyard Now Permanently Closed at Animal Kingdom Before we take a look at what’s going to replace The Boneyard, let’s take a brief look back at the massive playground and exploration area. Hallo zusammen!
