Ice Cream for Breakfast Day is celebrated every year on the first Saturday of February. According to the official Ice Cream for Breakfast Day website, there are only three rules:
- Eat Ice Cream.
- On the first Saturday of February.
- For Breakfast.
So to help you plan your celebrations, we’ve compiled a list of all the ice cream (and DOLE Whip) locations at Walt Disney World open at breakfast time.
Locations
Ice Cream Carts

Ice cream products like Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar and Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Sandwich are available at carts throughout the Walt Disney World theme parks. These carts don’t have posted hours, but some do open in the early morning, so keep your eyes peeled.
Magic Kingdom

Astrofizz in Tomorrowland will open with the park at 8 a.m. on Saturday, February 7. This snack kiosk offers the Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar and Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Sandwich.

For a slightly later ice cream breakfast, visit Aloha Isle or Sunshine Tree Terrace in Adventureland, which both open at 10 a.m. They offer soft-serve ice cream and DOLE Whip.
EPCOT

If you want a somewhat sophisticated ice cream breakfast, you can visit La Crêperie de Paris or the quick-service Crêpes À Emporter in the France pavilion beginning at 9 a.m. Both have ice cream crêpe options.

In the Italy pavilion, Gelateria Toscana opens at 10 a.m. It has classic gelato and sorbet, as well as floats, milkshakes, and other treats.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Ice Cold Hydraulics opens with early entry at 8 a.m., so guests can get a Hand-dipped Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar with Sprinkles or Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Sandwich bright and early.

At 10 a.m., Hollywood Scoops opens with hand-scooped ice cream, sundaes, and milkshakes.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Trek Snacks and Tamu Tamu Refreshments both open with early entry at 7:30 a.m. Trek Snacks has the Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar and Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Sandwich. Tamu Tamu offers DOLE Whip cups, floats, and sundaes.
Disney Springs

When Disney Springs opens at 10 a.m., guests can find ice cream products at Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop, Vivoli il Gelato, and Häagen-Dazs.
Disney Hotels
Most quick-service food courts at Walt Disney World Resort hotels offer some kind of ice cream. They open between 6 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. These include:
- Gasparilla Island Grill – 6 a.m.
- World Premiere Food Court – 6:30 a.m.
- Contempo Café – 6:30 a.m.
- The Mara – 6:30 a.m.
- Good’s Food to Go – 7 a.m.
- Landscape of Flavors – 7 a.m.
- Centertown Market – 7 a.m.
- Beach Club Marketplace – 7 a.m.
- The Artist’s Palette – 7 a.m.
- Everything POP Shopping & Dining – 7 a.m.
- Olivia’s Cafe – 7:30 a.m.
At Disney’s BoardWalk, The Cake Bake Shop Bakery and The Cake Bake Shop Restaurant open for breakfast at 7 a.m.
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park

Assuming the weather is nice, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Ice Cream for Breakfast Day. Snack Shack opens with the park, offering various DOLE Whip snacks, beverages, and a Soft-serve Cookie Sandwich.
