After we reported on the rumor that the Spider-Man Stuntronic show in Disney California Adventure would end soon, Disney announced they would add more performances to the schedule for the holiday season.

The Spider-Man stunt show will have even more performances throughout the day starting on November 17, Disneyland Resort officials told the Orange County Register.

Our sources report that the show will still be ending, just not in November. Performers were informed recently that they will be let go.

The increase in performances will come right after Disneyland’s holiday season officially begins on November 15.

The show is performed daily in Avengers Campus with a stunt-performing robot seamlessly switching places with a live performer to pull off impressive stunts. After the show, Spider-Man holds a meet and greet with guests.

Disney California Adventure will also add more opportunities for Spider-Man to meet fans.

The show, officially called “The Amazing Spider-Man!,” is currently performed at 10 a.m., 10:40 a.m., 11:05 a.m., 11:40 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 2:15 p.m., 2:45 p.m., 3:30 p.m., and 4 p.m. Up-to-date showtimes can be found in the Disneyland app.

The show was rumored to end in November, following in the footsteps of several canceled entertainment offerings, including “Dr. Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts.” Other entertainment acts have had shortened runs and fewer performances this year, reportedly due to budget cuts.
