Despite Tropical Storm Sara missing the Orlando area, remnants of inclement weather are expected to hit the area on Thursday, November 22. In anticipation of the oncoming weather, Universal Orlando Resort has announced that Universal Volcano Bay will be closed on Thursday and Friday, with an expected reopening on Saturday, November 23.
The announcement came via a post from the official Universal Orlando Resort X account:
Weather Update – Universal Volcano Bay will be closed on Thursday, November 21 and Friday, November 22, due to inclement weather. For park updates, please call 407-817-8317 or stay tuned to Universal Orlando’s social channels.
At this time, Walt Disney World has not made any announcements regarding the closure of Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park. Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is currently closed for seasonal refurbishments.
