Magic Kingdom
- Walt Disney World has added new signs instructing guests on how to gesture to the Fab 50 statues found throughout the resort, and no longer advises “waving” at the statues to interact with them.
- The $450 Lightning Lane Premier Pass has sold out for Thanksgiving Day at Magic Kingdom, marking the third time Premier Pass has sold out for Magic Kingdom.
EPCOT
- Soarin’ Around the World has quietly debuted new updates to its ride film at EPCOT, adding World Celebration to its ending and updating the Eiffel Tower sequence.
- Annual Passholder exclusive merchandise has been teased for the 2024 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Starting today, November 20, 2024, the Trader Sam’s Holiday Rum Barrel Tiki mug will be available at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

New Merchandise
- Disney has recreated some of the floats from Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade as scented pins in the “Disney Festive Floats” collection now available at Walt Disney World.

- In anticipation of the oncoming weather, Universal Orlando Resort has announced that Universal Volcano Bay will be closed on Thursday and Friday, with an expected reopening on Saturday, November 23.
