The queue line for the Red Car Trolley at Disney California Adventure Park has been extended prior to the ride’s closure next month.
Red Car Trolley Queue Extended
The Red Car Trolley is set to close next month with February 8, 2025, as the last day for guests to experience the attraction.
The Red Car Trolley allows guests to climb aboard a vintage trolley for a scenic ride through Buena Vista Street and Hollywood Land. The trolleys are modeled after the Pacific Electric Railway trolleys that crisscrossed the Los Angeles area from 1887 until 1961.
An extended queue for the trolley has recently been established in anticipation of long lines during its last few weeks of operation.
Metal stanchions with ropes have been attached to the poles that mark off the regular queue area.
A flag attached to the rope has an image of a red trolley car on an orange background, referencing what the line is for.
Guests can be seen waiting in the queue for the Red Car Trolley to arrive.
Last December 2024, we reported that Disneyland plans to leave one trolley parked on Buena Vista Street so guests can continue to take photos and enjoy the trolley after the attraction closes.

The Red Car Trolley is closing permanently to make way for Avengers Campus expansion. Construction on the expansion is set to begin early this year. It will include the attraction Stark Flight Lab, starring Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, and Avengers: Infinity Defense, a world-jumping attraction featuring King Thanos.
