Several new Mousewares items including a new Orange Bird fruit peeler and a Mickey pancake mold have arrived at Walt Disney World. We found the new items at the Emporium in Magic Kingdom Park and World of Disney in Disney Springs.
Orange Bird Peeler – $14.99
This plastic fruit peeler has a handle shaped like the Orange Bird. The Orange Bird sits on top of the rounded section used to go around the fruit. Users place round fruit under the curved section to peel them.
Large Mickey Container – $29.99
This plastic Mickey container is clear with a blue lid. The lid has a rubber seal around the edges to keep the top from falling off when the container is tilted. The image on the front shows a cute cartoon Mickey holding a spatula. The rest of the container is covered in scattered Disney Parks snacks, like Dole Whips, popcorn, and Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bars.
Small Minnie Container – $24.99
The Minnie container is about half the height of the Mickey container. Like Mickey, the Minnie container is clear plastic with a rubber-sealed lid. This lid is pink instead of blue. Minnie is wearing a red dress with a white apron as she mixes dough in a bowl. The same scattered snack pattern is used to fill the space around the sides of the container.
Mickey Pancake Mold – $9.99
This pancake mold is made of yellow plastic and has two small tabs on the top and bottom for picking it up. The mold is shaped like a small classic Mickey icon.
Park Icon Cookie Cutter Set – $24.99
This set comes with six metal cookie cutters. Each cutter is shaped like a different Disney Parks icon, including a Mickey head, Cinderella Castle, a Mickey glove, a Dole Whip, a Minnie bow, and a Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar.
Trash Can – $39.99
A small container designed to look like a Disney Parks trash can is now available. The canister is white with blue and yellow accents. The front and back have a Fantasyland castle on the body. The lid is removeable and the blue trash slot is not functional. The sides of the trash can have Mickey holding a scraping spatula.
A sticker on the trash can lists potential uses, which do not include “trash.” Rather, Disney suggests using this as a compost bin, ice bucket, wastepaper basket, cookie jar, storage container, or vase.
The lid lifts off to reveal the storage space inside, which is a solid matching blue.
Cupcake Mug – $19.99
These unusual mugs may be intended for making 1-serving mug cakes, which have gained popularity over recent years. The bottom has a shape like a cupcake wrapper. This pink mug features cupcakes designed to look like Mickey and Friends as well as park attractions. Pictured above are cupcakes representing Donald, Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room, Goofy, Space Mountain, Figment, and Mickey.
More designs include The Haunted Mansion, Orange Bird, Minnie, a Fantasyland castle, Mad Tea Party, and Pluto.
There’s also PIrates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and “it’s a small world” cupcakes.
On the bottom of the mug’s interior is a castle cupcake.
Most Magical Kitchen Mug – $19.99
The light blue mug features Mickey holding a Fantasyland castle cupcake. It reads “Most Magical Kitchen” with midcentury modern-inspired fonts.
The bottom of the mug’s interior has a Mickey cupcake.
Mug – $19.99
The last of the three cupcake mugs is light yellow with art of Tinker Bell floating above a castle cupcake. It reads, “A Dash of Magic.”
Inside the cup is art of Chip and Dale carrying a bowl of sugar.
Ear Hat Bottle Stopper – $14.99
Two bottle stoppers are available. The first is all black with the exception of the red circle and Mickey head. It’s shaped like a Mickey ear hat.
Minnie Bow Bottle Stopper – $14.99
The other bottle stopper is shaped like Minnie’s iconic red bow with white polka dots.
Mickey Icon Pattern Rolling Pin – $29.99
The last new Mousewares item is a light blue rolling pin with debossed Mickey icons. The design is such so that when used to roll dough, it leaves behind a pattern of Mickey icons.
The tag shows an example of what dough rolled with this pin will look like.
