New Hello Kitty Christmas Loungefly backpacks are now in stock at Universal Orlando Resort. We found them in Toon Extra at Islands of Adventure, the new home for Hello Kitty merchandise since the store at Universal Studios Florida closed to make way for “Wicked.”

Visitors pass under a colorful "Flash Gordon" sign at the theme park entrance, with palm trees swaying and the cheerful sight made even more delightful by kids sporting Hello Kitty-themed Loungefly Backpacks.

Toon Extra is the main gift shop in Toon Lagoon. It has multiple entrances, with access by the Popeye fountain through a Beetle Bailey tent-themed facade stretching all the way over to the end of Toon Lagoon by Marvel Super Hero Island. The Hello Kitty merchandise is currently at the far end near Marvel.

Hello Kitty Christmas Loungefly Backpack – $90

This red Hello Kitty backpack, part of the Loungefly Backpacks collection, is adorned with festive Christmas decorations, including a wreath and stockings featuring beloved cartoon characters.

Hello Kitty and other Sanrio characters are enjoying a holiday hearth. The Sanrio x Loungefly placard is on the bottom left. Hello Kitty peeks through a wreath above the mantle with a Santa hat and her signature bow. To her left is Chococat. Badtz-maru and Keroppi are in stockings hung from the chimney with care. To the side of the fire, Pompompurin is getting a nice, warm nap.

The bulk of the bag is bright red with green trim. The side pockets depict two different winter window scenes. One sees My Melody and Kuromi in their winter gear, while the other has Cinnamonroll in front of a white Christmas tree.

The straps are bow-esque in shape and covered in glittery green simulated leather. A “Happy Holidays” graphic featuring all the friends amidst a pile of presents is on the bottom of the bag’s back.

My Melody Winter Loungefly Backpack – $90

A charming red and white Hello Kitty Christmas backpack with a holiday-themed design, holly decoration, and a fluffy heart on the front is proudly displayed among other Loungefly Backpacks in the store.

The other festive bag is shaped like My Melody in a cozy winter outfit. Her ears peek up over the top edge, and she wears a holly leaf topped with a red jingle bell on her head. Tufted white fabric adds texture to the trim of her scarf, globes, and jacket. Two large white pompoms hang from her coat.
