This post confirms that Mickey’s PhilharMagic in Hong Kong Disneyland will be getting the new “Coco” scene. The “Coco” sequence was announced all the way back in July of 2021 and came to Magic Kingdom Park in November of the same year. Since then, other parks including Disney California Adventure, Disneyland Paris, and Tokyo Disneyland have also added “Coco” in their respective versions of the attraction. Prior to this announcement, Hong Kong Disneyland was the last remaining park playing the original film without the new content.

The additional “Coco” scene does not replace one of the existing sections from Mickey’s PhilharMagic. Instead, the new material is slotted between the “Lion King” and “Peter Pan” sections that already exist, extending the full show’s running time by about a minute and a half. All of the previous parks have place the “Coco” scene in this same section of the film, so it is very likely the Hong Kong Disneyland attraction will take the same approach.
