A full collection of 2025 Lunar New Year merchandise has arrived at Disney California Adventure. The items honor the Year of the Snake and feature designs evoking Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese culture.
2025 Lunar New Year Merchandise
Spirit Jersey – $79.99
The new Lunar New Year Spirit Jersey is bright red. Mickey is standing in the bottom left corner, wearing a new red outfit with white pants and a black curved hat. Mickey is surrounded by stalks of bamboo.
The chest of the jersey has a Mickey icon-shaped golden snake above the Disney California Adventure wordmark and the year 2025. On the bottom left, Mickey plays a pipa, which is a Chinese instrument similar to a guitar.
The back of the jersey has “Lunar New Year 2025” across the shoulders in bold golden lettering. Starting at the waist, several paper lanterns hang down in multiple bright colors. The red lantern in the center is shaped like Mickey, and a few other Hidden Mickeys are snuck into the lantern patterns.
Ear Headband – $34.99
The new ear headband is bright red and yellow. The front of the ears has a stitched pattern of paper lanterns in red, yellow, and pink. In the center of the shiny red bow is a golden snake curled into the shape of a Mickey icon. The band itself is yellow on the outside and red on the inside.
The fabric on the back of each ear has a different pattern from the front. Gold patterned circles are scattered across the fabric with fireworks. The left ear says “Lunar New Year” and the right ear has the year “2025,” both embroidered in gold thread.
Mickey Plush – $34.99
A new Mickey plush has also arrived for the festivities. The main pattern of Mickey’s red jacket is the same as last year’s Lunar New Year Plush. However, the style of the jacket has been changed to a shorter length with blue edges. Mickey’s pants are now red, and golden snakes have been printed on his knees.
The back of the plush continues the same jacket pattern as the front. Mickey’s new round hat also uses this red pattern. The hat has a white fur stripe around the bottom, and a curled snake icon is in the center circle.

Mickey and Minnie Limited Release Pin – $19.99
The most ornate of the new pins is this Limited Release pin celebrating 25 years of Disney Pin Trading. Mickey and Minnie stand together in tradition-inspired outfits. Mickey is wearing the same outfit and holding the same instrument as seen on the Spirit Jersey.
Mickey and Minnie Limited Edition Pin – $22.99
On this Limited Edition pin, Mickey and Minnie stand together wearing simpler outfits in red and gold. Minnie has a yellow flower on her head in place of her usual bow. The couple stand together with their hands folded in front of a red circular background. The year 2025 is in yellow at the bottom of the circle.
Mickey Limited Release Pin – $19.99
The third new pin shows Mickey by himself, standing on a white cloud next to a pillar dated 2025. Mickey is wearing a simpler yellow shirt with red sleeves and pants, just like the previous pin.
Chip and Dale Magic Keyholder Pin – $19.99
The final Limited Release pin features Chip and Dale. Chip sits next to a lucky red bag and Dale rides on an orange fish. Both of them are dressed in colorful Lunar New Year outfits. The top of the pin says “Lunar New Year” and has the Disney California Adventure wordmark. The Magic Key wordmark is printed at the bottom. This pin is also celebrating 25 years of Disney Pin Trading.
Red Envelopes (Pack of 6) – $19.99
This item is a set of six matching envelopes showing Mickey Mouse in a new red outfit. Mickey is seen here in the same pose and playing the same instrument as the Spirit Jersey. Gold text on the top says “Happy Year of the Snake.” The back of each envelope is plain red.
Tea Cup – $19.99
This new tea cup is taller than a toothpick holder but smaller than a standard glass. The cup is red with a golden firework pattern across the base. The Mickey-shaped golden snake icon seen on most of the other merchandise this year is printed in the center. Three hanging lanterns are strung from the snake’s body.
On the opposite side, the text says “Lunar New Year 2025” in red. The Disney California Adventure wordmark is printed in gold near the base.
Disney Parks Lug Bag – $65
The Lunar New Year merchandise includes a new Lug bag. The shape and size is similar to several of the previous Lug bags seen at the Disney Parks, with a carrying handle on top and a longer shoulder strap folded inside. The front zipper pouch has the golden snake icon embroidered and says “Lunar New Year 2025.” The pattern on the top of the bag is the same gold-patterned circles with hanging lanterns found on the tea cup and the ear headband.
The Disney California Adventure wordmark is printed in gold on the back of the bag. The metal Disney Parks X Lug tag is attached near the bottom. The Lug bag also has two yellow loops near the zipper opening for threading the bag trough a belt or strap.
Character Folding Fan Pin Mystery Set – $22.99
This Character Folding Fan mystery pin set is not new for Lunar New Year, but it has been recently restocked.
The side of the box tells guests each box contains two pins from the collection of ten characters in the set. The characters available include Stitch, Donald, Winnie the Pooh, Goofy, Chip, Dale, Daisy, Pluto, Mickey, and Minnie. Each character holds a differently-patterned folding fan in front of their face.
Magic Key Exclusive Tee – $34.99
The final shirt is also a Magic Key exclusive. The red shirt uses the same golden circle and firework pattern found on most of the other merchandise items.
The right chest has the same Disney California Adventure and Lunar New Year wordmark found on the Spirit Jersey, though here it is white. Chip and Dale sit on the bottom right corner of the shirt. The two characters are in the same poses and outfits as the Magic Keyholder exclusive pin.
A larger version of the golden snake icon is printed in shimmery material across most of the back. Like the Tea Glass, three paper lanterns hang from the snake’s body.
Lunar New Year runs at Disney California Adventure from January 17 – February 16.
