The closure is listed on the official Walt Disney World website. The Fuentes del Morro Feature Pool and Aquatic Play Area will close on January 13 for routine maintenance and is scheduled to reopen near the end of January. This closure is much shorter than last year’s three-month-long refurbishment which lasted from January through March of 2024.

The five leisure pools throughout the resort, one located in each village, will remain open to guests.

Sign at a pool entrance reads: "The Fuentes del Morro Pool is for the exclusive use of Caribbean Beach Resort Guests. Pool Hours: 10:00AM - 11:00PM." Patio chairs and umbrellas are visible behind.

Last summer, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort began implementing wristbands that guests were required to wear to access the main pool. According to Cast Members, the wristbands were a test, with managers at other Walt Disney World Resort hotels being updated on issues and successes related to the wristband system.
