More construction walls have come down around Tiana’s Bayou Adventure as the first day of Magic Key previews begins, offering guests a look at the attraction’s sign and the entrance to the Ray’s Berets merchandise location.

More Construction Walls Down at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

People walking past a construction site with green barriers and tall pine trees in the background under a clear blue sky.

As you can see, construction walls still surround the splashdown area of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and the nearby construction on the carriage house shop for Haunted Mansion. Construction walls around the queue came down last week.

We caught a log vehicle going down the drop as we passed by, but no riders were aboard. Both of today’s virtual queue drops were booked up within seconds for the Magic Key preview.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Attraction Sign

Sign for "Tiana's Bayou Adventure" in a wooden fenced area, next to a rustic building with "Rex's Retreat" sign. Trees and clear sky in the background.

However, walls did come down around the attraction’s sign and the entrance to Ray’s Berets, which was previously The Briar Patch gift shop. The other merchandise location for the ride, Louis’ Critter Club, will open on November 13.

This sign is virtually the same as its twin in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opened in Florida earlier this summer.

A woman with gray hair and sunglasses talks on the phone beside an empty information display in a garden setting.

What is likely a wait time sign stands next to the attraction’s marquee. The screen was turned off when we passed by. A small plaque on the post reads:

Documents related to the Certificate of Compliance for this attraction may be viewed at City Hall in Town Square.

Ray’s Berets

Exterior of a rustic log cabin-themed shop labeled "Roy's Beets," with a green roof and red double doors, surrounded by trees.

The log-cabin-style building features a sign on the roof that reads”Ray’s Berets” in yellow. An oval depicting Ray is above the main part of the sign.

Six hats sit atop the sign, and two lanterns dangle above the sign. A hat sits on the post above one of the lanterns.

At the far right end of the wall beneath the sign is a brown and red closet. Based on concept art, the closet doors will open and the inside will be full of merchandise.

A rustic shop with a sign reading "Ray's Berets" is set against a wooded backdrop. An upturned boat decorates the front, with a small window and wooden log exterior.

A small boat stands upright beneath the overhang of the roof. Like with the closet, concept art shows this boat loaded with merchandise.

To the left of the window in the above photo is a “Letters” box. “Disneyland Mail Box” appears on the front of it. This box was not present in the concept art previously released.
