The photo room at Olivia’s Cafe in Disney’s Old Key West Resort will be stripped as part of an upcoming refurbishment, with the photos preserved in albums at the nearby Conch Flats Community Hall.
DVC Member Photos Being Removed from Olivia’s Cafe

Renovations have begun in Olivia’s Cafe, starting in the back and will be working their way forward. Eventually, all of the photos outside the check-in area will be taken down and relocated.

As seen in the image above, the back room is already closed off, paper and blinds cover all of the windows.
A portion of the dining room at Olivia’s Café will be unavailable for a few weeks beginning February 16, due to routine maintenance. The restaurant will remain open throughout this time. As part of this work, the photo collection at Olivia’s Café — some of which have aged or begun to fade over the years — will be thoughtfully relocated to new albums at Conch Flats Community Hall, the resort’s gathering place for Disney Vacation Club Members and Guests. This transition will help ensure these special memories are preserved and remain accessible for Members and Guests to enjoy for years to come.

The photos in question are those of Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members. They have been collected and hung on the walls of Olivia’s Cafe since the resort opened.

The photos are being preserved in a communal album in Conch Flats Community Hall, the recreational hall at the resort. The hall is open to all guests from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
