The Halloween golf cart parade has returned for 2024 to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. For the annual event, guests rent or bring their own personal golf carts, decorated in Halloween “costumes,” often inspired by Disney Parks.

2024 Halloween Golf Cart Parade at Disney’s Fort Wilderness

Two people on horseback parade down a tree-lined street during the Halloween golf cart parade, one proudly holding an American flag. Spectators sit and watch from the roadside as festive carts follow in celebration.

The parade kicks off with the non-golf-cart entry: two Fort Wilderness Cast Members on horseback.

A colorful float, part of the Halloween golf cart parade, features a witch, mummy, and skeleton gliding down the street. Trees and excited onlookers fill the background.

Some guests go for Halloween themes in general, like the haunted house above.

A Halloween golf cart parade features a cart decorated as a large, smiling cartoon character, followed by another colorful, caterpillar-themed creation. Enthusiastic spectators line the road.

The cart costumes range from simple decor to extensive props. One cart was topped with a giant floating Zero from “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” complete with jack-o’-lantern nose.

Others go for a Disney character theme over Halloween, like the guests who fully transformed their cart into Tow Mater. Another cart was Inside Out-themed, covered in balloons and rainbows, with Bing Bong’s wagon on top. Bing Bong himself was on the back of the cart, while the wagon was filled with plush of Riley’s emotions.

A parade float shaped like a character in a black helmet and cape rolls down the road, part of the lively Halloween golf cart parade, surrounded by spectators and trees.

These guests turned their cart into a gigantic Darth Vader holding a lightsaber.

Other guests themed their carts to non-Disney, non-Halloween themes, such as the Viking boat and army tank above.

Non-Disney characters were also spotted. A Minion cart was decked out with plenty of bananas. Even the cart had big Minion eyes on the front. Another guest must have said “Beetlejuice” three times, as he was driving a cart in the parade with the sandworm on top.

There were two “Toy Story” carts — an elaborate Woody’s Roundup covered wagon, “pulled” by Bullseye; and a Toy Story Land cart with Slinky Dog Dash over the top.

The "Tonga Thomas," a tourist tram themed as a riverboat, joins the Halloween golf cart parade, gliding down roads lined with trees and curious bystanders.

Parks attractions are always a big hit in the parade. These guests turned an extended cart into a Jungle Cruise boat.

A small parade vehicle resembling a train tram moves down the tree-lined street, part of the charming Halloween golf cart parade, with spectators seated on the roadside.

The front car of Monorail Red led the way for a Pandora – The World of Avatar cart.

It had scrim siding of floating mountains, a large Banshee, and Na’vi.

A creatively decorated scooter resembling a small vehicle in a Halloween golf cart parade, featuring Star Wars-themed signs and decorations, with spectators sitting on the roadside.

Finally, this cart was decorated as Oga’s Cantina, themed with some of the various jugs, pipes, tubes, and wires that make up the bar. The sides of the cart featured reproductions of Oga’s menu and coasters. Even the wheels had coaster-covered rims.

The parade was held at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30. It featured many golf carts, all decked out in various “costumes.”
