So on Disney+, they have launched the Disneyland 70th Anniversary Collection, which is just an assortment of professionally shot first-person perspective walk-throughs and ride-throughs of a handful of lands and attractions at both parks. We noticed in the SWGE walk-through that the camera made a point of lingering on every one of those spherical Coke ODV stands. And then we watched the Hollywood Land walk-through, which also had a moment focusing on a Coke station. And then we remembered that the Main Street walk-through briefly veered through Coke Corner, which didn’t seem particularly odd at the time, and we realized something was up. Sure enough, the Avengers Campus video included a segment inside the Pym Test Kitchen that made a point of showing us the soda fountain.

I guess the Coca-Cola corporation is footing the bill for these videos? Bizarre that Disney can’t pony up to promote their own dang park. But at least we got a laugh out of it.
