So, I know some people are upset that Disneyland and DCA have 3 open theaters with no shows but I the other local parks have similar issues.

I was just at Knott’s on Wednesday this week and was getting a drink in the saloon. I stated that I always seem to get lucky and miss the long drink lines when a show is going on. The bartender said they had not had a stage show in close to a year. The Camp Snoopy theater with Snoopy characters shows was also removed and not replaced with anything. Was there any type of musical in the Charles Schulz theater this past summer? The Mystery Lodge was closed around COVID and is currently used as a Haunt maze.

I wanted to take my 83 year old mom to Sea World this summer and let her see some shows. They are down to Orcas that splash people, dolphins that jump through hula hoops and sea lions that stand there and bark. The Cirque Du Soleil knock off and other shows are gone. Just 3 shows left plus too many upcharge animal attractions to list here.

I believe Magic Mountain has one indoor theater near Twisted Colossus but I don’t know if they use it as I haven’t been there in a couple of years. They don’t have any stage shows listed on their website.

Castle Park got rid of Anthony the Magic and plays a boom box now and lets kids dance to the tunes.

I have not been to Universal in 20 years so no idea on what is happening there but no one else seems to want shows.
