If you’re looking to add a little extra magic to your Disneyland day, the Fantasmic! Dining Package is the perfect way to do it. This special offering combines a delicious meal at one of the park’s popular restaurants (Rancho del Zocalo, River Belle Terrace, or Cafe Orleans) with reserved viewing for Fantasmic!—Disneyland’s breathtaking nighttime spectacular along the Rivers of America. Whether you’re craving classic American fare or flavors with a twist, these packages let you enjoy great food and a prime spot for the show without the stress of securing a spot early.

Insider Tip: It’s important to note that you can watch Fantasmic! without purchasing a dining package. However, the viewing area is not great, and it is standing room only (and you will need to show up about an hour and a half early to even get a spot!). With a dining package, you get to sit in a reserved area, and you only need to show up up to 30 minutes early!

I recently had the chance to try the Rancho del Zocalo package. Before I get into my review, here is the package information:

Feast on Mexican-Korean fusion style cuisine with a tasty 3-course meal for lunch or dinner and receive a voucher admitting you to a separate reserved viewing location for one of the 2 Fantasmic! performances that evening.

For lunch and dinner, your menu options are the same.

Adult Menu
Choose from an array of tasty entrees, including:

  • Sweet and Spicy Shrimp Tacos
  • Potato Tacos (plant-based)
  • Sweet and Savory Carne Asada

Each entrée is served with Radish Slaw, Rice, Corn Esquite, Refried Beans, Cortadillo and a fountain beverage choice.

Kid’s Menu
Pick a tasty entrée:

  • Kid’s Chicken Drumette
  • Kid’s Potato Taco (Plant-Based)
  • Kid’s Mac and Cheese

Each kid’s entrée is served with a Cuties® Mandarin Orange, Cortadillo, and a refreshing beverage choice.

How to Book
Select “Check Availability” on the Disneyland app or website to reserve this dining package.
Availability is limited.

Reservation Times
Starting at 11:00 AM for lunch and 3:30 PM for dinner.

I had a 4:15 PM dinner reservation for the 10:30 PM show. Checking in is super easy! You check in at the table to the left of the restaurant entrance. You give the Cast Member your name so she can look up your reservation. They will then give you a menu and a Fantasmic! pass to hand over when paying for your meal.

I had the shrimp tacos and got an extra side of beans instead of rice. The tacos are spicy! I have a high spice tolerance, so I was able to eat these without a problem, but if you are sensitive to spice at all, I highly recommend trying a different menu option. I’m not sure I was a big fan of the Mexican-Korean fusion, but I really loved the shrimp, and you get a ton of food. I give this a 7.5/10 rating.

The Fantasmic! —themed dessert is pretty tasty. The Pan Dulce cake was a bit dry, but the delicious jam center and the vanilla frosting with sprinkles made up for that. I give the dessert an 8/10 rating.

Overall, the meal was really filling and tasty. Next time, I think I would try another one of the entree items, but it really is a great value considering how much food you get and the view from the Rancho del Zocalo seating area for Fantasmic!
