Did you know you can take a free drawing class at Disney’s Animal Kingdom? It’s called the Animation Experience, and it’s perfect for Disney fans of all ages! Here’s how you can find it and make the most of your visit.
The class is located at Rafiki’s Planet Watch, an area of the park that many guests overlook. To get there, head toward the Africa section of Animal Kingdom. Right next to the Safari, you’ll find a sign for “Rafiki’s Planet Watch.” Hop on the Wildlife Express Train, which will take you directly to this peaceful and educational part of the park.
Once you arrive, follow the path to the main building where you’ll find the Animation Experience. Here, talented Disney Cast Members will teach you step-by-step how to draw some of your favorite Disney characters. The best part is that the characters change throughout the day, so if you stick around or come back, you could draw different characters in just one visit.
Rafiki’s Planet Watch has even more to offer. Inside, you’ll find fascinating insect and reptile exhibits, perfect for curious explorers. And outside, there’s a petting zoo where you can meet goats, pigs, and other friendly animals.
