The 4th of July is once again upon us, and both Walt Disney World and Disneyland plan to wow guests with impressive fireworks shows. Here’s everything you need to know about where to catch all the sparkling fun on July 4th on both coasts!
Disneyland
Catch “Disney’s Celebrate America! — A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky,” a special Independence Day fireworks show, on July 4, 2025, at 9:35 p.m. This will replace the Wondrous Journeys fireworks show on the 4th of July only. This fireworks spectacular gets guests in the star-spangled spirit with brilliant fireworks in the night sky to the sounds of patriotic songs.
There is also a special patriotic Flag Retreat ceremony on July 4 at 4:15 pm.
Walt Disney World
Insider Tip: Resorts across Walt Disney World also join in the fun, sometimes offering family-friendly activities like pool parties, games, crafts, and character meet-and-greets in patriotic outfits.
Magic Kingdom
At Magic Kingdom, guests can experience Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky. This breathtaking fireworks spectacular, choreographed to patriotic music, lights up the sky above Cinderella Castle. It will be performed on both July 3rd and 4th at 9:20 pm. The 360-degree fireworks around the park are a real highlight, unlike anything else Disney does throughout the year!
Insider Tip: A simultaneous fireworks display over nearby Seven Seas Lagoon creates an unforgettable experience for guests in the park and nearby Magic Kingdom Resort Area hotels!
EPCOT
The nighttime spectacular, currently “Luminous: The Symphony of Us,” often includes a special grand finale on the Fourth of July called “The Heartbeat of Freedom.” It’s a dazzling tribute to America, and the perfect capstone to an evening exploring the countries of World Showcase.
During the day, EPCOT also features special appearances by the Voices of Liberty, an a cappella group known for their stirring renditions of patriotic classics inside the American Adventure pavilion.
