On the weekends, we brunch! Disneyland Park has only one brunch spot, and it is located on the Frontierland riverfront. While most restaurants offer brunch only on the weekends, River Belle Terrace actually offers it daily from 10 am-1:55 pm! No matter what time of day you’re dining, you’ll find a variety of delicious dishes from a Southern menu loaded with charm that are sure to satiate any appetite. At brunch, enjoy morning favorites, including the All-American Breakfast—scrambled eggs, French toast, applewood-smoked bacon, breakfast sausage, and house fries. You can also try lunch items, including the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich, the Country Cuban Sandwich, and more. River Belle Terrace is always adding to/changing their menu, so I recommend that you check out their current menu on the Disneyland app.
Side Note: If you’re looking for a brunch spot at Disney California Adventure Park, I highly recommend Lamplight Lounge (offered only Friday through Sunday)!
This is one of my favorite sit-down spots to dine, especially on a nice day. While there is plenty of indoor seating, it’s quite the experience of sitting on the outdoor patio while enjoying the breeze and watching the Mark Twain and Sailing Ship Columbia coast by. During my recent visit, I tried the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich. They have several delicious sounding brunch items on their menu, and I’m already looking forward to going back and trying more things!
Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich
Fried Cherry Peppers, Pickle Coleslaw, BBQ Aïoli with House Fries
This sandwich is huge and packed with so many goodies! If you are looking for something light and fresh, you will probably want to try something else; however, if you are in the mood for a more filling, comfort food-type meal, then this will be a winner. What is most unique about this is the BBQ aioli; I can’t say I’ve ever tried a fried chicken sandwich with BBQ sauce in it, but it definitely adds more flavor and a little bit of a punch.
This also comes with a side of house fries and these are seasoned and cooked to perfection! They are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. While they are extremely tasty, I do wish they offered a side of fruit also since the sandwich is already fried and so heavy. Overall, I give this dish a 7.5/10.
