After years apart, the producers and cast of “Phineas and Ferb” are reuniting on stage at New York Comic-Con. The event will feature sneak peeks of the highly anticipated new season, which is set to premiere on Disney Channel and Disney+ in 2025.

The new season will follow Phineas and Ferb as they embark on another 104 days of summer adventures. Candace remains determined to expose her brothers’ schemes, while Perry the Platypus continues his mission to thwart Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s world domination plans.

At the recent D23 convention, Povenmire and Marsh shared a sneak peek of the season’s opening song, “Summer Is Starting Right Now.” The writing team for the new season includes a mix of returning writers and new talent, including actress Olivia Olson, who voices Vanessa Doofenshmirtz in the series.

The exciting news of “Phineas and Ferb’s” revival was first announced in January 2023, with plans for 40 new episodes. This beloved animated series originally aired from 2008 to 2015 on Disney Channel (and later, Disney XD), producing approximately 126 episodes.

The show also featured two successful movies, “Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension” (2011) and “Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the Universe” (2020). The original series concluded with a thrilling cliffhanger, as Candace inadvertently saved the day by stopping Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s time-loop invention.

Throughout their summer adventures, Phineas and Ferb accomplished extraordinary feats, including building a rollercoaster, traveling to outer space, playing with time travel, discovering Atlantis, and even saving the world with the help of Marvel superheroes.
