Courtyard Pool at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort Closing for Refurbishment This Month
Guests planning a stay at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa should prepare for refurbishment activity—specifically around the Courtyard Pool. According to a notice on the Walt Disney World website, the Courtyard Pool, spa, and Courtyard Pool Bar are scheduled to close for routine maintenance from January 13, 2025, through late February 2025 due to routine maintenance on the Courtyard Pool building.
The cooler winter months of January through March are a common time for pool maintenance at Walt Disney World, as decreased demand allows for essential updates with minimal guest impact. Although the Courtyard Pool will be unavailable during this period, guests can still enjoy the resort’s Beach Pool and its lively waterslide and splash pad.
