“Oh, biscuits!” Disney Experiences just announced that Bluey will join Disneyland Resort in California and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida on land and Disney Cruise Line at sea! Beginning in January 2025, onboard Disney Cruise Line voyages originating from Australia and New Zealand, families can interact with Bluey and her sister, Bingo. From special meet-and-greets to an interactive and clue-filled game that ends in a dance party featuring Bluey’s signature moves, families in the region can embark on a magical holiday with their favorite blue heeler. The producers of Bluey, the multiple Emmy Award-winning Ludo Studio, are working closely alongside BBC Studios and Disney on a number of special activations for fans to enjoy. Details about how guests can meet Bluey and her family at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort will be shared soon! The announcement comes as part of a major expansion of The Walt Disney Company’s global relationship with BBC Studios for Bluey. The new deal sees Disney acquire the global theatrical rights for the film, which will be produced by Ludo Studio in collaboration with BBC Studios and will land in cinemas in 2027 under the Disney banner. The island consists of multiple beaches, shopping, dining, an observation tower, a nature trail, a complimentary kids club, adults only beach, and so much more! So, let’s get into it! Dining on Disney’s Castaway Cay Cookie’s BBQ: This is the main restaurant on the island and is an open-air buffet with plenty of great food options even for those with special dietary needs. This location serves lunch including BBQ, flatbreads, salads, and ice cream. Cookie’s Too: This restaurant serves the same menu as Cookie’s BBQ but, is located on another part of the island. The name of the restaurant is inspired by the year that The Walt Disney Company was founded. This restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with an array of different options including allergy friendly options which is great! What is rotational dining? Rotational dining means that your personal wait staff will rotate nightly to one of the three themed restaurants aboard the cruise ship ensuring your specific needs are met and your meal is enjoyable each night with a unique setting. There are 2 different dinner seatings each night so, be sure to check “my plans” in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to find your table number, restaurant schedule, and seating time. You are invited to choose a seating time when you book your cruise depending on availability. The decor inside this restaurant is truly breathtaking. There are 2 beautiful dining rooms (one named Walt and one named Roy) and there are over 1000 drawings and props/tools of the Animation trade.
