Disneyland 70th Anniversary Foodie Review

Disneyland’s 70th anniversary celebration is in full swing, and along with the celebrations, there are tasty themed treats, food, and beverages all around the resort. There are over 70 items to celebrate 70 years of the Disneyland Resort, and the culinary teams did not disappoint! We tried a few items during our recent visits, and we have put this review together to help you decide what’s a hit and what’s a miss during your next trip! You can check out the complete 70th foodie guide here. P.S. Be sure to keep checking back here as we will update this review as we try more things! Disneyland  Cafe Daisy Chicken Bacon Ranch Flop-Over Ranch, bacon bits, diced chicken, mozzarella, and provolone This is probably the best food item we have tried so far for the 70th anniversary celebration! It is packed with flavor, and the breading on the flopover is soft and flavored with bits of parmesan. This reminded us of a chicken bacon ranch wrap from Costco (and it may even be better?!). We highly recommend this one-10/10 rating. Source: Kingdom Media The Miss Daisy Minute Maid Light Lemonade and blue cotton candy syrup topped with blue raspberry gummy rings (Non-alcoholic) This was a good and refreshing drink, but the blue cotton candy syrup obviously puts this drink more on the sugary side. Be sure to eat the gummies because they lose their sugar if they sit in the drink. This one was just ok, but nothing we

Updates on Coco and Avatar Attractions, Plus NEW Parking Structure Coming to Disneyland!

Today, we’re excited to share a peek behind the curtain at some of Disney’s long-term plans to expand and grow at Disneyland Resort! All-New Parking Structure and Transportation Hub Coming to Resort Area Plans are underway for a new parking structure and transportation hub that will be built on the east side of Disneyland Resort, on a portion of what is currently the Manchester cast member parking lot. This new area will provide approximately 6,000 parking spaces, shuttle and rideshare areas, security screening, and dedicated access for traffic off of Disney Way, improving parking and traffic flow throughout the resort area. As you can see from the artist concept rendering above, this new parking and transportation hub will also feature a pedestrian bridge over Harbor Boulevard, leading to an all-new esplanade arrival experience. This pedestrian bridge will also provide convenient public access to and from Harbor Boulevard. These enhanced parking, transit, and arrival offerings are the first step in the next phase of construction, creating the infrastructure necessary to prepare for future growth and to welcome more guests as new experiences are added – including two all-new attractions that will double the size of Avengers Campus, plus the new “Coco”-themed ride and Avatar destination coming to Disney California Adventure park. The multi-year construction of this new arrival experience is slated to begin in the fall of 2026. Source: Disney Updates on the Location for the “Coco” Attraction As Disney continues to

“Fallout” Invades Halloween Horror Nights: Prime Video’s Hit Series Comes to Life in Terrfying New Haunted Houses at Universal Studios Hollywood and Florida

For the first time ever, horror fans will step into the post-apocalyptic wasteland of Prime Video’s “Fallout,” in an all-new terrifying haunted house at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights. The unimaginable terror becomes a reality starting Friday, August 29, at Universal Orlando Resort and Thursday, September 4, at Universal Studios Hollywood. Source: Universal Based on the award-winning global video game franchise from Bethesda Game Studios, “Fallout” was a critically acclaimed hit with audiences worldwide when it debuted on Prime Video in 2024. The cinematic series is set in the year 2296, two hundred years after a nuclear war destroyed civilization. All that is left is an eradicated and highly violent hellscape known as The Wasteland, crawling with mutated animals and creatures, while gentle citizens take refuge underground in luxury fallout shelters known as Vaults. In this terrifying haunted house, fans will encounter iconic scenes and characters that will put them into the frightening action of the popular series. The journey begins beneath the surface in Vault 33, where guests follow vault-dweller Lucy MacLean as she escapes a bloody massacre, only to discover an evil hidden secret. From there, visitors venture to the surface, where they must dodge attacks from Scavengers and Raiders, desperate survivors who will do anything to remain alive, and mutated cockroaches known as RAD Roaches. As guests travel through the hellish Wasteland, they will go through iconic locations like the Super Duper Mart and encounter The Ghoul, an ageless bounty hunter who has endured radiation

Review of Palm Breeze Bar at The Villas at Disneyland Hotel

Nestled within the newly opened Villas at Disneyland Hotel, the Palm Breeze Bar offers a vibrant poolside retreat that blends mid-century modern aesthetics with contemporary culinary flair. Opened in November 2023, this open-air venue draws inspiration from the whimsical artistry of Disney Legend Mary Blair, evident in its colorful murals and breezy ambiance. Guests are invited to this laid-back, modern bar to treat themselves to cocktails, mocktails, and chilled favorites. Savor shareable appetizers, artisan personal pizzas, salads, sandwiches, desserts, and more. We grabbed a mocktail and some lunch during our recent stay at The Villas at Disneyland Hotel. Here’s what we tried! Pineapple Cooler pineapple shrub, orange juice, grenadine This is a super refreshing and fun mocktail drink! It was hard to taste any grenadine as the pineapple and orange juices are the dominating flavors. There are also chunks of crunchy, dried, sweetened pineapple, and that really elevates the drink! Spicy Crisp Chicken Sandwich zesty slaw, spicy aïoli, bread and butter pickles, served with french fries This is a hearty sandwich with a big side of fries! This has an asian-flavored twist to it, so it won’t be your traditional spicy chicken sandwich. It is pretty tasty, and the pickles add a nice crunch to the sandwich. It’s not the best chicken sandwich we’ve had on property, but it’s definitely up there! Source: Kingdom Media Accessing the Palm Breeze Bar requires navigating through the Discovery Tower’s lobby and out to the pool
