Universal Orlando Resort has announced the highly anticipated return of Volcano Bay Nights, running Friday evenings from September 5 through October 31. This exclusive, limited-capacity event transforms Universal’s tropical water theme park into a glowing, lava-lit paradise, complete with after-dark thrills, live entertainment, and all-new encounters with Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. gang.
Guests can enter Volcano Bay as early as 4:00 p.m., with the event officially taking place from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., giving plenty of time to enjoy both daytime splashes and nighttime excitement.
What’s Included at Volcano Bay Nights:
•Lower Wait Times on Top Attractions: Ride favorites like TeAwa The Fearless River’s roaring rapids, brave the 125-foot drop on Ko’okiri Body Plunge, or take on the twists and turns of the Krakatau Aqua Coaster with shorter lines.
•Scooby-Doo and the Gang: Snap photos with Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Fred, and Daphne, and watch as they confront some of their most notorious animated villains – including the Ghost Clown – against the park’s stunning nighttime backdrop.
•Beach Bash Entertainment: Dance under the stars at Waturi Beach with a live DJ and enjoy unique photo opportunities with the iconic Mystery Machine.
•Complimentary Snacks: Indulge in treats like Churro Bites with Mango or Chocolate Dipping Sauce, or Golden Pineapple & Coconut Popcorn. Guests can also enjoy more than 100 drink options with a Volcano Bay Freestyle Souvenir Cup.
•Specialty Menu Items: Savor themed bites and tropical beverages at Kohola Reef Restaurant & Social Club, Koka Poroka Ice Cream Kona, and other select snack stands.
Tickets & Upgrades
Tickets are on sale now starting at $99 plus tax, with standard self-parking included. Universal Orlando Passholders can enjoy a 10% discount with a valid Annual or Seasonal Pass. Private cabanas are available for an upgraded experience, starting at $279.99 and offered on a first-come, first-served basis at concierge huts on the event day.
