Universal Stella Nova Resort, a new hotel near Epic Universe at Universal Orlando Resort, is now open. The celestial-themed resort is one of a pair of new resorts, alongside Terra Luna Resort, which opens in March. Stella Nova is “inspired by the infinite vastness of the unexplored universe, where galaxies spiral ever outward and unknown worlds revolve around unnamed stars.” We were among the first guests to visit Universal Stella Nova Resort — join us for a tour of our room.

Universal Stella Nova Resort Room Tour

Hotel room with two neatly made beds, orange bolster pillows, and a space-themed mural on the wall. Large oval window with curtains overlooks a scenic view.

Stella Nova has standard double queen hotel rooms. Ours had a pool view. In general, this hotel reminds us of Universal Aventura Hotel but with more curves.

A door handle at Universal Stella Nova Resort displays a colorful "Do Not Disturb" sign, proudly stating "Dreams Are Universal" and "Stella Nova," inviting guests to enjoy their stay without interruption.

There are some nice branded touches, including this spacey door hanger which reads “Dreams are Universal – Do Not Disturb.”

Experience a modern hotel room at the Universal Stella Nova Resort. A narrow entryway leads to a full-length mirror and a view of the inviting double bed. The large window reveals stunning scenery, while soft lighting creates a welcoming ambiance. Perfect for your next room tour in photos and video!.

The room is very white but they’ve done some things to break up the appearance. There’s a full-length mirror in a white frame in the entryway. The soundproofing between rooms was not great.

Explore a modern interior at Universal Stella Nova Resort, featuring a white cabinet, a mini-fridge, and a tray with a coffee maker. With minimalist design and light wood flooring, this inviting space is perfect for your Room Tour photos.

There’s a tall closet with double doors. A vent and the temperature control are on the same unit.

Discover the open closet at Universal Stella Nova Resort during your room tour, featuring a secure safe, hangers, folded linens, and a convenient luggage rack. Multiple shelves provide ample storage space, and a helmet is neatly tucked inside, awaiting your adventurous photos and video sessions.

It has a good amount of storage space. You could put bags under hanging garments. There’s also extra bedding, a safe, an iron, an ironing board, and a luggage rack in the closet.

Explore the modern bathroom at Universal Stella Nova Resort, featuring a large mirror, sleek sink, and plush towels on the right. Through the doorway on the left, a toilet with additional towels awaits. Light-colored flooring and walls add to this inviting room tour.

After the full-length mirror is the sink area. It has a mirror in a similar white frame, against a beige accent wall.

Modern bathroom at Universal Stella Nova Resort features a rectangular mirror, white sink, and counter. Towels hang on a rack, while a tissue box and pink soap rest on the counter. The partially visible toilet area to the left completes this elegant room tour.

There’s a lot of space under the vanity. It seems like an odd spot for storage, but it could be useful. There are some cubbies in the vanity for extra toilet paper, the hair dryer, cups, and towels.

A packaged facial soap labeled "Universal Stella Nova Resort, Cosmic Ember" rests elegantly on a white circular soap dish, capturing the essence of luxury you'd expect during a room tour.

One of the branded elements is the facial soap. It comes in pink and purple packaging, which the scent dubbed “Cosmic Ember.”

Experience a refreshing room tour of a serene bathroom at the Universal Stella Nova Resort, featuring a shower-tub combo with a white curtain, toilet, and a shelf stocked with neatly folded towels. The tiled floor and light grey walls create an inviting and calm atmosphere.

The bathroom has a blue wall behind the toilet. There’s a towel rack above.

It’s a pretty standard bathroom. It has white tile flooring and a white shower curtain.

Though difficult to see in photos, there is a wavy pattern on the walls of the shower.

There are mounted branded conditioner and shampoo bottles. The bath soap is also in branded packaging.

The bathroom door slightly open provides a sneak peek into a Universal Stella Nova Resort room, showcasing a wall-mounted TV and elegant furniture. The shower curtain and bathroom floor add to the inviting scene in this exclusive room tour.

There is a pair of hooks by the door.

Experience a room tour at Universal Stella Nova Resort: a modern hotel room featuring a closet, wall-mounted TV, and kitchenette. A sleek dark glass or curtain elegantly separates the bathroom from the main area, blending privacy and style seamlessly.

Between the bathroom and bedroom is an interesting room divider. It’s glass with a dark blue curtain on the bedroom side.

Explore the Universal Stella Nova Resort, where your resort room tour reveals a captivating space-themed mural above two double beds adorned with white bedding and peach accent pillows. A cozy nightstand with a lamp completes the scene, perfect for capturing memorable photos and videos.

The curtain doesn’t pull all the way across the space, which we found confusing. It doesn’t provide complete privacy to the bathroom and the glass divider only marginally opens up the room when exposed.

Experience the Universal Stella Nova Resort with a spacious hotel room featuring two beds and vibrant space-themed wall art. Enjoy a large window view, a wall-mounted TV, and a cozy seating area with magazines. Check out photos from your recent room tour to relive your stay!.

Other than that, this is a solid value room. It has just enough personality and character. As many pointed out when concept art was first released, it does have a Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser vibe. The orange bolster pillows are reminiscent of Galactic Starcruiser’s orange bedding.

Open the small refrigerator in your room at the Universal Stella Nova Resort, with a coffee maker and cups neatly arranged on top—a perfect stop during your room tour.

The mini fridge is in a white cabinet with a blue top. The coffee station is on top.

The white sideboard with four drawers is situated against the wall near a blue sofa, reminiscent of the elegant furnishings at Universal Stella Nova Resort. On top, you'll find a remote, paper, brochure, and pen—all essential for planning your room tour.

There’s a white dresser with wide drawers. It’s right next to the blue couch, with a blue padded back behind it.

At the Universal Stella Nova Resort's hotel desk, you'll find a phone, guest information list, USB port outlet, and a branded notepad with pen—perfect for capturing memories or planning your room tour.

Atop the dresser is a Stella Nova notepad and pen, important information, phone, and outlets.

The Pop-up power outlet at Universal Stella Nova Resort features two standard sockets, two USB ports, a USB-C port, and a blue indicator light, ensuring you're always connected during your stay. Remember to capture the convenience in action during your room tour photos.

The built-in outlets are three standard USBs, one USB-C, and two standard outlets.

Experience comfort at the Universal Stella Nova Resort, featuring a hotel room with two beds, a wall-mounted TV displaying a welcome screen, and thoughtful touches like a blue couch, white desk, and gray curtains. Perfect for unwinding after capturing memories with your Photos and Video.

There are two weird white circles on the wall across from the beds. They seem to be lights — they’re metal with a transparent pane behind them. But we couldn’t figure out how to turn them on. That side of the room did feel dark.

The TV in your Universal Stella Nova Resort room greets you with a personalized welcome screen, showcasing the weather, date, and time. Explore further using QR codes for a room tour, remote, app download, and hotel guide.

There’s a TV mounted on the wall between the two circular fixtures.

One orange bolster pillow is on the blue couch, acting as an arm. The flooring has a light-colored wood finish.

A small white oval table stands beside a blue sofa with a curved backrest, perfectly styled on the light wood floor next to a blue polka dot rug—ready for your room tour at the Universal Stella Nova Resort. Don't forget to capture some photos!.

We appreciate this table’s iridescent leg. It adds a good splash of color.

Experience the Universal Stella Nova Resort, where your room tour reveals two neatly made beds, each adorned with a white duvet and an orange bolster pillow. A blue-patterned rug lies beneath them, complemented by a nightstand with a lamp nestled in between.

The bolster pillows on the bed also help contrast the white bedding. We’re big fans of any carpet around beds. This one doesn’t go all the way back to the wall, but that’s fine. As long as it’s where your feet touch the ground when you get up.

A modern nightstand at the Universal Stella Nova Resort, nestled between two beds, features a lamp, a clock, and a remote control. Perfect for your room tour!.

There’s a mushroom-shaped lamp on the end table. Behind that, built-into the wall, are two standard outlets, a USB outlet, and a USB-C outlet. The alarm clock has a wireless phone-charger on top.

Experience a cosmic retreat at Universal Stella Nova Resort's inviting hotel room. Two double beds with white linens and orange bolster pillows complement a large space-themed mural, perfect for any Room Tour. Between the beds, a small table with a lamp adds to the cozy ambiance.

A gray headboard goes across both beds. Obviously, the space mural above the headboard is one of the main features of the room. The light beneath it is controlled by a switch on the wall next to the curtain.

Experience a room tour at the Stella Nova Resort, where modern design meets comfort. This universal space features two beds, a wall-mounted TV displaying a welcome screen, and an oval window offering stunning city views amidst contemporary furnishings.

The window with rounded ends helps give the room a spacey vibe, plus looks cool with the colorful exterior of the building. If you’re going to make a clean white room like this, you need to go the extra mile to add theming, and the window helps accomplish that.

Experience a room tour at the Universal Stella Nova Resort, featuring a cozy hotel room with a comfortable bed, elegant curtains, and an oval window that offers stunning views of the pool area and distant scenery.

Unfortunately, the curtains are just plain gray.

Experience the serene landscape of Universal Stella Nova Resort from a unique vantage point during our Room Tour. The pool area unfolds beneath a moody, cloud-filled sky as viewed through an elegant oval window, promising a tranquil and unforgettable stay.

We had a nice view of the oval-shaped pool, hot tub, and pool bar. There was some roof beneath us.

Those roller-coasters in the distance are SeaWorld, not Universal Orlando Resort. We could also see the Orange County Convention Center and just a bit of Terra Luna Resort.
