The Maple Bacon Churro is back, joining the group of seasonal churros that have been appearing at Disneyland Resort. Some of the other churros appearing in the parks include the new Mardi Gras churro and the returning Strawberry Sugar churro. We found the Maple Bacon Churro at the cart near Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.

Maple Bacon Churro – $7.50

Topped with Maple Glaze and Bacon Bits

A close-up of a Maple Bacon Churro, topped with crumbled bacon and drizzle, held in a paper napkin outdoors. The treat captures the essence of Disney California Adventure, with lush trees and foliage in the background enhancing its seasonal charm.

We definitely recommend leaving this churro in the paper unles you want a large mess on your hands. The bacon bits start falling off the churro pretty much immediately, and the maple drizzle will leave your fingers sticky.

We were sadly disappointed, as this churro did not meet our expectations. The cinnamon dust overpowers the flavor of the maple, and there were not enough bacon bits left stuck to the churro for them to have a strong flavor either. We were expecting a bacon explosion with a sweet maple glaze, but we could barely find either flavor. This churro was not bad by any means, but the world of Disneyland churros is competitive and better options are available.
