The outside sign for Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros at EPCOT is covered with a black tarp, and an A-frame sign inside the Mexico Pavilion informs guests of the attraction’s closure. The ride has been closed since Monday, January 6, and is expected to reopen on March 15, 2025.
Only a few inches of water remain in the visible portion of the Gran Fiesta Tour ride track. With the water level significantly lowered, pipes, prop supports, and the track walls have been exposed. Lights can be seen illuminating areas further inside the attraction. It is likely that the remaining water will be drained completely over the next few days, allowing crews to thoroughly clean the ride track in preparation for the refurbishment.
The Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros is a leisurely boat ride through the heart of Mexico. Join Panchito and José Carioca of the beloved Three Caballeros as they embark on a hilarious search for their missing bandmate, Donald Duck. This enchanting journey replaces the original boat ride, El Rio del Tiempo, which showcased the rich history of Mexico. In 2007, the attraction was reimagined, incorporating the beloved Three Caballeros and transforming into the vibrant Gran Fiesta Tour we know and love today.
