The gingerbread house, meticulously crafted by the resort’s talented bakery team, is a feast for the senses. Adorned with white chocolate candy canes, edible snowflakes, sugar poinsettias, and an 88-pound white chocolate Santa Claus, the display is a testament to the artistry and dedication of the pastry chefs.
This year’s creation features over 10,000 pieces of gingerbread, baked with a staggering 1,050 pounds of honey, 800 pounds of flour, and 600 pounds of confectioners’ sugar. The decorations include an impressive 700 pounds of chocolate, adding a touch of decadence to the festive display.
While the basic structure of the gingerbread house remains consistent each year, new decorations and details are added to create a unique experience. This year’s highlights include character-themed trees adorning the porch and other areas, with one tree even resembling Figment in his holiday sweater. A 25th-anniversary cake takes center stage in the attic, and the windows are topped with charming character murals.
