Would you pay $400 to skip the lines?

Just as we were getting used to Disney’s paid line-skipping offerings, the Lightning Lane Multi Pass and the Lightning Lane Single Pass, the company has just rolled out an even more expensive option – Lightning Lane Premier Pass. Set to begin on October 30th, this new tier will cost you $129 to $449 per person depending on when you go and which park you visit. Will people pay this much to not wait in lines? Should you?

In addition to this news, Disney Vacation Club announced “Membership Magic Beyond.” This will be a new yearly enhanced benefits package that can be added to a membership. However, DVC is already an expensive endeavor with high-priced points and yearly member dues – should they really need to ask people to spend another $99 a year to enjoy the benefits, some of which have already been included?

Meanwhile, Universal had nothing but good news to announce when they told us an opening date for their newest Orlando theme park— Epic Universe! Now that we know when it will open, will you want to be among the first to walk through the gates? Our panel will share what you’ll need to know to be ready to book your room and grab your tickets when they go on sale later this week.

Back at Disney, the holiday offerings continue to roll out for the Christmas season. They announce the opening date for the Jingle Cruise at Magic Kingdom, the return of ‘Frozen Holiday Surprise,’ Resort Gingerbread Houses, and More 2024 Holiday offerings for 2024. They also rolled out the Candlelight Processional Celebrity Narrators list, and our panel is ready to talk about it all!

Over at DCL, new experiences were announced for Disney Adventure Cruise Ship, including Disney Cruise Line’s First-Ever Roller Coaster! We get a look at the staterooms, some DCL Magicbands, and the date of the Disney Adventure maiden voyage, as well as the dates when more sailings will be announced and bookings will open.

Plus, we’ll look at the new menu for The Hungry Bear Jamboree as its set to reopen, talk about delays to the new Little Mermaid show at Hollywood Studios, we have another edition of “It Came From the Parks,” and Much More!
