Halloween hasn’t even happened yet, and Universal Orlando is already gearing up for the holiday season with new Earl the Squirrel merchandise.
Earl the Squirrel Merchandise
We found the new Earl the Squirrel merchandise for sale in the Park Plaza Holiday Shop at Universal Studios Florida.
Original Nutcracker Adult T-Shirt – $30
This green T-shirt features Earl the Squirrel standing alongside a bright green Christmas tree in a snowfield. The back of the shirt is blank.
Earl wears his classic red checkerboard sweater and trapper hat trimmed with white fur. He holds a strand of Christmas lights that also wrap around the tree. “Universal Studios” is stamped in the snow at his feet, with scattered acorns laying about.
Happy Holidays Pin – $10
This pin features Earl the Squirrel and Pearl the Squirrel together, sandwiched between the phrase “Happy Holidays.” “Happy” is in a white script font, while “Holidays” is in a white sans-serif font. Earl is all tangled up in Christmas lights, while Pearl holds a present.
Ball Cap – $27
This ball cap is red and white with accents of green on the bill. Earl is centered on the front panel, with a graphic of him holding up a holiday wreath. The bill features a Fair Isle-style pattern with green pine trees, a red truck, white snowflakes, a green trailer, red acorns, and white squirrels.
The bill pattern continues on its underside. A “Universal Studios” patch is attached to the back of the hat, just above the plastic red adjustable strap.
A green patch that reads, “I (Heart) (Acorns)” is sewn to the right side of the hat on the white mesh back.
Knit Beanie – $25
This knit beanie features the same all-over Fair Isle-style pattern, with a red border on the bottom. A patch of Earl holding a wreath is attached to the front.
Tumbler – $35
This holiday tumbler is mostly white and covered in the all-over Fair Isle pattern with accents of red and green. Earl sticks out from inside a holiday wreath. A log with “Universal Studios” carved into it is below him.
The tumbler includes a clear lid with a sliding closure and a clear straw. It is not microwave- or dishwasher-safe.
Mug – $18
This festive mug is white, and features the same art of Earl and Pearl featured on the trading pin above. “Happy” is printed in red script, while “Holidays” is printed in red sans-serif text. “Universal Studios” is printed at the very bottom.
The inside of the mug is glazed red.
Nuttin’ But Trouble Youth T-Shirt – $25
The “Nuttin’ But Trouble” tagline from last year returns, this time on a red youth-sized T-shirt.
“Nuttin’ But Trouble” and “Universal Studios” are printed in white, with Earl tangled up in lights in the center. The back of the shirt is blank.
Happy Holidays Adult T-Shirt – $33
This adult T-shirt is red, and features Earl and Pearl together once again.
The pair are featured in the same poses as seen on other merchandise, with “Happy Holidays” printed in white.
“Universal Studios” is printed on the back beneath the neckline, alongside snowflakes and acorns.
Earl the Squirrel Mini Backpack – $65
This mini backpack is ready to carry all your holiday essentials. Earl’s head is massively represented as the front compartment, and wears his checkerboard trapper hat with a big, toothy smile. The background of the rest of the bag is the Fair Isle-style all-over pattern.
The goldtone zipper pull for the backpack’s main compartment features a brown acorn charm.
The back panel of the backpack is brown, and the bag comes with red adjustable straps that say “Universal Studios.”
The interior of the bag is lined with red fabric.
Earl the Squirrel Plush – $17
We also found one returning item from 2022: the cuddly Earl the Squirrel plush. He is covered in a soft tan fabric with a fuzzy white belly and chestnut nails on all four of his paws.
Unlike the graphic art on other merchandise, this plush wears a red and black plaid trapper hat. Earl’s eyes, eyebrows, nose, cheek lines, and mouth are all embroidered.
Of course, Earl also sports a big, bushy brown tail.
