‘Reach for the Stars,’ a stunning new nighttime projection show, is now captivating audiences at Tokyo Disneyland.

Tokyo Disneyland first announced the new show in January, revealing its name, ‘Reach for the Stars,’ in June. This captivating experience combines stunning castle projections with dazzling lights and pyrotechnics.

“Reach for the Stars” brings Disney “characters to life as they soar through the night sky in pursuit of their dreams.” Tokyo Disney Resort released this description:

“Beyond the distant sky,
There was a sparkling castle above the clouds.
It’s a dream-like place where many stories dwell.
Now, let yourself be carried by the winds of freedom,
Spread the wings of imagination,
And let’s soar to the world of dreams!
Reach for the Stars!”

The enchanting nighttime spectacle features projections of beloved Disney characters, including Tinker Bell, Hercules, Pegasus, Dumbo, Carl Frederickson and his house from “Up,” Aladdin and Jasmine on the Magic Carpet, WALL-E and Eve, Baymax and Hiro, and Woody and Buzz Lightyear.

For the first time ever at Tokyo Disney Resort, Marvel superheroes like Iron Man and Captain Marvel also take center stage. Additionally, characters from “Mary Poppins,” “Inside Out,” “Sleeping Beauty,” and more join the magical display.

This stunning new nighttime spectacular lasts for 20 minutes and is performed once or twice daily. Guests can also opt for Disney Premier Access to enjoy the show with priority seating.
