A video recently went viral showing a child running in front of a moving Disney parade, sparking a debate about parenting at Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, and the international Disney parks. Luckily, a character performer intercepted the child and returned her to the viewing area before disaster struck.
TikToker @gadzooks2025 posted the video, which amassed over 3.5 million views and thousands of likes and comments. “Where are the parents of this girl?” the social media user asked.

The video shows the girl running to hug Daisy Duck as hundreds of Disney Park guests watch in horror. The Disney character performer quickly pulls away from the child, grabs her hand, and escorts her to the side of the street before other parade performers and floats arrive.
Unsurprisingly, most Disney Parks fans were horrified at the girl’s parents or caretakers for allowing her to run into the path of a moving parade.
“She is way old enough to know better,” said @i_love_snacks_18.

“Parents will do everything for their kids except parent,” @mayhemmadland replied.
Many commended the Disney character performer for thinking quickly and handling the situation professionally.
“Daisy took care of business!” said @berns1229.

“Problem is you let one kid get away with it, All of a sudden you have all these Karen moms yelling ‘what about my kids tho, that’s not fair,’” @lafeamasbella10 added. “Daisy did what she had to do. Educate yourselves over entitlement parents.”
Still, some commenters defended the girl and her parents.
“Behave in WHAT way… going out to give Daisey a hug?” @leslie.mdz15 wrote. “Omg act like she committed a crime. No one was hurt gtfover yourself.

“She’s probably on the spectrum yall don’t know anything about this child..,” @mamanjordyn argued. “Stop judging her and her parents..Also parents of children on the spectrum sometimes don’t want to make a big [scene].”
Never walk in front of a moving parade at the Disney parks. If you need to cross the road, look for the nearest Disney cast member who can help you find a safe time and place to do so.
