A Disneyland Park guest recently took to social media to warn others about the holiday crowds at the Southern California theme park. The latest report comes just weeks after Inside the Magic reported that Christmastime visitors slammed Disneyland Park but left Disney California Adventure Park a “ghost town.”

The Happiest Place on Earth celebrates the most wonderful time of the year with limited-time food items, seasonal decorations, and entertainment offerings like A Christmas Fantasy Parade and “Believe…In Holiday Magic” fireworks over Sleeping Beauty Castle. Unlike at Walt Disney World Resort’s Magic Kingdom Park, where guests have to have a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party ticket to experience some festivities, Disneyland Park offers its holiday cheer to all daytime guests.

The combination of the annual celebration and millions of Americans’ vacations from work and school make the weeks of Christmas and New Year’s Eve some of the busiest at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. TikToker @luuv.ve recently shared this video of a crowded Main Street, U.S.A., amid the holiday celebrations:

“It’s Tuesday,” the Disney Park guest wrote. “Ain’t nobody got work?”

The video amassed thousands of likes and comments from other Disneyland Resort fans who were shocked that the theme parks could be so busy, especially when most Magic Key Pass Holders are blocked out of the theme parks.

“I went yesterday too like why were there so many ppl?” @moniqueluvsu wrote.

Other Disney Parks fans shared their tips for enjoying a visit amid the holiday chaos.

“Me and my bestie went in the morning and it was empty we went on a lot of rides,” said @joannaibarraa. “But after 5pm it got packed.”

Some said they avoid Disneyland Resort altogether during this time of year.

“The real secret is going to Disney in the off season,” @ali_lue1 wrote.

Guests can make the most of their visit by arriving early, tracking wait times on the Disneyland Resort app, and purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Lightning Lane Single Passes. The deluxe Lightning Lane Premier Pass is also available two days in advance on the Disneyland Resort app.
