On July 20, a year-round nighttime parade will return to the Magic Kingdom for the first time since the Main Street Electrical Parade ended its most recent run in 2016. The brand-new Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away parade will feature dazzling floats inspired by Pinocchio (1940), Peter Pan (1953), Moana (2016), Frozen (2013), Encanto (2021), Coco (2017), Wish (2023), and, of course, Mickey Mouse and friends. It will travel the Magic Kingdom parade route in reverse, beginning on Main Street, U.S.A., and ending in Frontierland.

Due to anticipated demand, Annual Passholders must make Park Pass Reservations to visit Magic Kingdom Park at any time of the day beginning on July 20, when Disney Starlight debuts. In recent years, Walt Disney World Resort has relaxed theme park reservation rules for Passholders, introducing “good-to-go days” when no reservations are required and allowing them to visit the Disney parks after 2:00 p.m. on most days without a reservation.

Unfortunately, many Annual Passholders hoping to catch Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away’s debut are out of luck. As of Wednesday, June 25, 2025, all Annual Passholder Park Pass reservations for Magic Kingdom Park are sold out.

At this time, Magic Kingdom Park Pass reservations are still available for other ticketholders on July 20. Annual Passholders can still make reservations for EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park that day, allowing them to park hop to the Magic Kingdom after 2:00 p.m. unless the park hits capacity, in which case most guests will be turned away.

Annual Passholders can also check the availability calendar as the date approaches in case guests cancel their reservations or Walt Disney World Resort increases the capacity.
