Walt Disney World is home to some of the most beloved attractions in the entire world. While it was the second Disney park to open behind Southern California’s Disneyland, it certainly makes up for it with expansive parks and immense dining and resort options.
Disney World has welcomed a number of new and exciting rides and attractions in recent years, too, namely Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, a log flume experience inspired by The Princess and the Frog (2009), as well as TRON Lightcycle / Run, a thrilling roller coaster based on Disney’s Tron franchise.
Disney World also has an extensive backlog of classic dark rides, such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion, as well as a number of incredible roller coasters, such as Expedition Everest, Space Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Of course, a day at the Magic Kingdom wouldn’t be complete without a trip aboard the Jungle Cruise. This slow-moving tour through the jungle brings guests with all kinds of animals and wildlife face-to-face.
However, a few years ago, some guests had a rather unique experience with the attraction, leaving them stranded on the backside of the water.
Livin’ LaFever Loca uploaded a video of the incident on YouTube, revealing the guest’s boat broke down right behind Jungle Cruise’s infamous waterfall. Riders were up a creek, or rather river, without a paddle for some time until eventually, cast members came in to save the day.
The boat in front was able to tow the broken down one back to the entrance of the attraction and thus, guests were rescued.
It’s a bizarre breakdown for sure, though it seems fitting for Jungle Cruise. We can only imagine how many jokes and puns riders were subjected to while they were stuck.
