When people think about what they want to do during their Walt Disney World vacation, many things come to mind. Maybe they want to watch the fireworks in front of Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom. Or perhaps they would like to spend a day of fun in the sun at Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon. Or maybe they are pouring through menus and figuring out what they want to enjoy as they eat and drink their way around the world at EPCOT.
One thing they probably don’t think about is asking the police to arrest them.

But according to a recently released police report, that is exactly what one woman did while visiting Disney Springs.
On September 28, officers from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call about a disturbance at Disney Springs. Walt Disney World security had called about a suspicious person.
When police arrived on the scene, they spoke to a witness, who said that a woman appeared to be drunk and was bothering guests who were visiting the massive shopping and dining area. She had also reportedly fallen into a planter because she was too drunk to stand.
The officer approached the suspect, identified as Marta Kaiser, and wrote that she appeared to be very intoxicated. He noted that Ms. Kaiser smelled of alcohol, her eyes were glassy, she slurred her words, and was unsteady on her feet. She also had a laceration on her right elbow, an injury she most likely got when she fell into the planter.
The officer also said that she was being aggressive, but he and his partner tried to “escort her off the property and to a safe location.” However, Ms. Kaiser kept refusing to leave.
We stopped near the Coca-Cola store on the property and requested the District Fire Department to respond to evaluate and treat Ms. Kaiser for a laceration to her right elbow. Further attempts were made to get Ms. Kaiser a ride away from the property and a medical evaluation.
Ms. Kaiser, again, was verbally combative and began to swear profanities at staff and firefighters on site, attempting to render aid.

The officer’s report goes on to say that Ms. Kaiser then began shouting, “F*** you, take me to jail. I want to go to jail.” So, she was promptly arrested and taken to the Orange County Jail. She was charged with Disorderly Intoxication, a misdemeanor.
She did pay a bond and was released. Then, on October 21, the State Attorney’s Office declined to prosecute and dropped the charges.
Disney has a zero-tolerance policy regarding drunken and disorderly conduct on its property. In addition to being arrested, Ms. Kaiser received a trespass notice from the Mouse House and was banned from visiting any Disney property in the future.
