If you’ve walked through Disney’s Hollywood Studios recently, you’ve probably noticed more than a few construction walls. But unlike the usual groans that come with blocked pathways and detours, this time, fans are actually a little excited. Why? Because Toy Story Land is quietly evolving—and the changes could make a big impact on the guest experience.

Fresh Additions Coming to Andy’s Backyard

Let’s start with what’s already underway. A brand-new snack kiosk is being built between the Toy Story Land restrooms and the path that leads into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. It’s not just a rumor—permits have been filed and contractors are on-site. Though Disney hasn’t confirmed the menu or even the name of the new stand, the location alone hints that this could be a smart move to ease congestion and give families more food options without leaving the area.

And for anyone who’s spent time in Toy Story Land on a hot summer afternoon, the thought of more shade and more snacks is a very welcome one.

Expanded Seating and More Breathing Room

Woody’s Lunch Box recently completed its own transformation, adding a much-needed shaded seating area. This spot was notoriously cramped, and now that extra space is open, it’s easier than ever to grab a bite without hovering over someone else’s table. There’s still some minor work going on behind the new seating area, but most of the updates seem to be winding down.

Could There Be More on the Way?

Elsewhere in the land, sturdy construction walls—brightly decorated with Toy Story flair—have popped up. This isn’t your standard rolling shrubbery. These walls suggest something more significant, and some fans think another food location or even a new piece of theming could be on the way. Others believe it might be as simple as refreshing the Toy Story Land sign above the Tinker Toys entrance, which has been missing lately.

Small Changes, Big Impact

None of these projects are on the scale of a major attraction, but they do point to something important: Disney is listening. Toy Story Land has long needed more shade, better seating, and improved guest flow. These tweaks may not seem like much individually, but together, they could make the land feel less cramped and more enjoyable—especially during peak crowds.

Hollywood Studios Deserves the Glow-Up

Hollywood Studios has undergone major transformations in recent years with the additions of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. And now, Toy Story Land is catching up with thoughtful improvements that are all about guest comfort. If these latest construction updates are any indication, even more upgrades could be on the way—and we’re here for it.
