Lasting a total of roughly three minutes, Kali River Rapids ultimately doesn’t feel worth the wait. Not only will guests need to stand in line before boarding the attraction, but they may end up getting completely drenched when they actually do get to ride.

Walking around Walt Disney World soaking wet isn’t ideal, so if you want to avoid ruining your tennis shoes, messing up your hair, and potential chaffing, you may want to skip this attraction.

It doesn’t help that, aside from the one drop, Kali River Rapids isn’t all that thrilling. However, it does feature one of Disney World’s best queues, so there’s that…

Mission: SPACE is a unique and ambitious outing by Disney. Intended to give riders a feel for what actual space training and flight are like, Mission: SPACE feels a lot more like a regular amusement park ride than an immersive Disney experience.

The ride is actually quite thrilling and intense, but ultimately, Mission: SPACE feels out of place at Walt Disney World, let alone EPCOT. This ride is also not great for claustrophobic riders and those who easily get motion sickness.

Magic Carpets of Aladdin and Dumbo The Flying Elephant

Both of these attractions are essentially the same experience. They take you up, fly you around in a circle for a few minutes, then bring you back down. There’s no denying Dumbo the Flying Elephant is one of Disney’s most iconic theme park attractions ever, but it’s also hard to justify waiting in the often long lines to actually ride it. Dumbo also does feature some fun theming and an interesting queue.

Magic Carpets of Aladdin, on the other hand, is a cheap imitation of the real thing and offers little incentive to choose it over Dumbo. In fact, both these attractions are found at the same park, so there is no reason to pick Aladdin instead of Dumbo.

Journey Into Imagination with Figment

Trees and greenery surround the base of the pyramids, leading to a Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge.

Okay, we know this is going to get us hated, but just listen for a second. Journey Into Imagination, the original version of the ride, was an absolute classic attraction and earned its place in Disney World history. Journey Into Imagination with Figment, the current iteration of the ride, well, not so much.

Filled with cheap gags and childish humor, Journey Into Imagination with Figment ironically feels very creatively bankrupt. There are certainly fun moments during the ride, especially the incredibly cool disappearing butterfly effect, but overall, Figment doesn’t really give guests a reason to hop aboard.

We hope Disney finally decides to give this attraction the overhaul it desperately needs, but for now, we recommend avoiding it.
