Are you a Mexico or Canada? When you head into World Showcase at EPCOT, do you take a right and head into Canada, or do you take a left and head into Mexico?

It’s an age-old debate among Disney fans, but the Mexico pavilion just got a leg up on Canada, and no, it’s not a new Margarita.

The Donald Duck meet-and-greet has returned to the Mexico Pavilion after a prolonged move to the Imagination Pavilion. Donald’s regular meeting area was undergoing construction, but he’s back and meeting guests.

Donald is a staple in the Mexico Pavilion. He has been meeting guests at the Pavilion for years, but has also been a star of the Gran Fiesta Tour starring the Three Caballeros.

Donald, José Carioca, and Panchito Pistoles took over the ride at the Mexico Pavilion in 2007. Before the Gran Fiesta Tour, El Rio del Tiempo took guests through Mexico’s history.

Donald Duck, dressed in his traditional poncho and sombrero, will greet guests on dozens of occasions throughout the day. Check the MyDisneyExperience app for Donald’s times.

Donald Duck has been a crowd favorite since his debut in 1934. Despite his stubbornness and occasional angry outbursts, fans have grown to love Mickey’s friend.

Mark your calendars, Disney fans! On September 3, three animatronic characters perform on a colorful stage with red curtains. From left to right, there's a duck wearing a blue hat and holding maracas, a bird in a sombrero holding a baton, and a turtle playing a guitar and wearing a hat.

However, there are a few places in Walt Disney World where guests can meet their favorite duck. Besides his appearances at the Mexico Pavilion, fans can meet Donald at Pete’s Silly Sideshow in Magic Kingdom and DinoLand U.S.A. Welcome Center at Animal Kingdom. However, with Animal Kingdom undergoing massive changes, that could change soon.

Donald is sometimes seen roaming around the Animation Courtyard at Hollywood Studios, and guests can meet him at some of the character dining places, including Tusker House in Animal Kingdom.

So, the next time you’re heading to Mexico for a margarita or some tacos, remember that one of the best meet-and-greets in Disney World is back. Give Donald the respect he deserves and stop by to give him a high five.
