A few upcoming dates will represent the highest pricing yet for the Lightning Lane Multi Pass offering as we start to see crowds increase ahead of the 2024 Holiday Season. In this article, we’ll take a look at the new high watermark for Multi Pass, compare it to the previous high for Disney Genie+, and look ahead toward a likely record-setting new high price this holiday season for Walt Disney World’s skip-the-line passes.

New High Price for Lightning Lane Multi Pass

Up until now, the highest price that you’d pay for a Lightning Lane Multi Pass is $32 – a new high price set today, as a matter of fact. Before today, the record high for Multi Pass was $29. To be clear, when we’re talking about high prices, we’re usually talking about the Magic Kingdom price, which is typically the highest price of the four Walt Disney World theme parks. For more on per-park pricing, check out our earlier article.

As you can see below, the current high of $32 for Magic Kingdom will soon be eclipsed by a new high price of $35 for the Lightning Lane Multi Pass offering. The upcoming dates with the $35 pricing for Magic Kingdom are Oct. 26th, Nov. 1st, and Nov. 10th.

Interestingly, while the new $35 price will be an all-time record for the re-branded service, it will not set an all-time record for a skip-the-line offering at Walt Disney World. The comparable Disney Genie+ service reached an all-time high of $39 before it was discontinued. We are confident that Walt Disney World will return to that $39 target, if not break through to the $40 barrier once we get closer to Thanksgiving and/or Christmas of this year.

Another thing to note is that while Magic Kingdom will set a new high price for the Multi Pass service as a whole on the previously mentioned dates, the other three theme parks will not set new record highs on those specific dates. Here’s a breakdown of the current high pricing at each park, and when a new record will be hit over the coming weeks.

Park Current High Price New High Price (date)
Magic Kingdom $32 $35 (Oct. 26)
EPCOT $24 $26 (Oct. 25)
Disney’s Hollywood Studios $29 $32 (Nov. 2)
Disney’s Animal Kingdom $22 $22

Just like “there’s always a bigger fish”, there’s always a pricer product. Starting October 30th, Walt Disney World will launch Lightning Lane Premier Pass – a new tier of Lightning Lane product that allows guests to bypass many of the inconveniences of the current system for a hefty price.
