Looking to beat the heat this summer at EPCOT? The Summer Sounds of EPCOT offering is now underway, featuring the Command Performance band from the United Kingdom Pavilion. The band plays multiple times per day in the American Gardens Theater as part of the limited-time offering. We stopped by recently to take a look and give you an idea of what to expect!
Summer Sounds of EPCOT
The Summer Sounds of EPCOT offering is expected to last through the summer, with Command Performance taking the stage through July 26th. From there, it is expected that Mariachi Cobre will take over the stage through mid-August.
EPCOT has played around with this style of “concert series” in the past, typically bringing in tribute bands to play during the slow summer months. This is a far cry from that, with EPCOT simply relocating existing bands instead of offering something new and fresh.
While it’s nice that EPCOT is offering a place for guests to relax and enjoy some live music, it’s a bit confusing to see it branded as something that feels bigger than it actually is. Maybe next year we’ll see the return of some third-party tribute bands.
