Christmas Day has come and gone, and there are some new characters to meet at the Walt Disney World theme parks following Santa’s return to the North Pole. While the Walt Disney World holiday season starts in November, Santa Claus doesn’t make it to new year, retiring to the North Pole after his big night on December 24th. The 24th is the last day that guests can meet with Santa and we made it out to Magic Kingdom recently to meet with Santa’s replacement: Stitch!
Santa Stitch at Magic Kingdom
Guests can meet with Santa Stitch through the remainder of the holiday season over in Storybook Circus at Magic Kingdom. Stitch started meeting around 9:45am, but Cast Members said that he got a head start on his typical 10am start time when we visited. Santa Stitch’s schedule isn’t posted anywhere, but we were told that he’ll be available to meet throughout the day starting around 10am and running through 5 or 6pm.
Santa Duffy at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Similar to Santa Stitch at Magic Kingdom, Santa Duffy has returned to Disney’s Hollywood Studios following the departure of Santa Claus. Here’s a look at Santa Duffy from our meet and greet with him last year. This year, Duffy returns to the same location at It’s a Wonderful Shop in Grand Avenue at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Santa Goofy at EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Guests visiting EPCOT or Disney’s Animal Kingdom can find Santa Goofy pulling double duty at the Restaurantosaurus location in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and in The Odyssey building at EPCOT.
