It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Yes, Christmas is next week, but I’m not talking about Christmas – I’m talking about EPCOT’s New Year’s Eve party. While visiting EPCOT this morning, we noticed that preparations are underway for the blowout event. If you’ve never attended, EPCOT New Year’s Eve is free with your park ticket, and the park comes alive with dance parties for one night only. Walt Disney World has not announced details yet for their New Year’s Eve plans, but preparations are underway. Here’s a look around!
Italy New Year’s Eve Party Preparations
Over in Italy, the rave will continue into 2025. A familiar structure has been erected around the central plaza and stage area. Here, a DJ will spin electric tunes throughout the night, paired with the best light display at EPCOT.
Preparations for United Kingdom Dueling Silent DJs
Over in the United Kingdom, preparations are underway for the dueling silent DJ dance party. The supports in place now will be the home of two DJs. Guests will be given a headset that can tune to one DJ or the other, with no music available to be heard by guests without headsets. In the past, this has been a controlled access area, and we expect that will be the case again this year. Just like all of the EPCOT New Year’s Eve festivities, the silent DJ is free to experience, but expect there to be a line!
The hedge maze is closed off to guests, with more equipment staged in the maze.
