While visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios recently, we noticed that there are some new construction walls in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge! The construction walls are on the edge of Batuu nearest to Toy Story Land. It’s unclear if the new Star Wars land construction walls are related to the new construction taking place nearby in Toy Story Land or not. Here’s a look around!

New Construction in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

As you can see below, construction walls surround a portion of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge that is very close to Toy Story Land. In fact, it was this very area that was used as temporary overflow seating for Woody’s Lunch Box when portions of the Toy Story Land quick service were under construction.

The first photo below shows the recent Toy Story Land construction walls to our left, and the entrance to Alien Swirling Saucer is just off-screen to the right.

Here’s a look back at the narrowed walkway between Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land thanks to the dueling construction walls.

The construction walls span all the way from a backstage gate, around toward where spires and buildings within Batuu come into view.

Right now, we’re not sure what is taking place in Galaxy’s Edge, but some trees have been marked with pink ribbons. This could be to indicate that they will be removed or cut down.
