A new guidemap has debuted this morning at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and the map shows a park in the middle of a transformation in multiple areas. Here’s a look at what’s new and changed in the map since the last map debuted just a few months ago in January 2025.

New Animal Kingdom Park Map (March 2025)

The new map features a child on the cover, using binoculars for some bird spotting. It looks like a portion of the Tree of Life is also on the cover.

On the information side of the cover, we see a few changes from the January 2025 version of the map. Most notably, Disney now calls out the upcoming extinction of DinoLand USA. The information in the map confirms some earlier reporting that the DINOSAUR attraction, Restaurantosaurus, The Boneyard, and character meet and greets will be available through the end of 2025. An exact closing date for DinoLand USA as a whole has not been announced, but with the Tropical Americas-themed land set to open in 2027, we can’t imagine that DinoLand USA is open this time next year. We wouldn’t even bet on it being open in February 2026, but we’ll keep an eye on that.

Here’s a bulleted list of the changes on this side of the map:

  • New cover image
  • Different ordering of animal trails
  • “Character Greetings” section removed
  • New “DinoLand USA” section added with information about how long it’ll be open

On the map side of the map, the only notable change is the removal of It’s Tough To Be A Bug, which had its final day of operation yesterday and had the attraction signage removed overnight.
