Walt Disney World guests who are curious about Universal Epic Universe now have a super cheap transportation option connecting the two theme park destinations. LYNX, the Central Florida public transportation system, now offers service to Universal Epic Universe, meaning that guests can travel between Walt Disney World and Epic Universe for as little as $2 per trip. Here’s the latest.
Bus Service Between Walt Disney World and Epic Universe
A bus new route is now available on the LYNX public transportation system that connects Walt Disney World, Universal Epic Universe, and the Orlando International Airport, among other stops. There is also limited service to the Helios Grand Hotel at Epic Universe in the morning and afternoon/early evening as well.
Epic Universe was added to the route on April 20th, and there are more than 30 arrival/departure times to and from Epic Universe throughout the day. According to LYNX, service runs from 5:17am through 10:25pm, roughly every 30-35 minutes throughout the day.
If you’re leaving from Disney Springs, the first bus leaves at 5:15am and the final bus departs Disney Springs at 10pm.
According to the schedule below, the trip from Disney Springs to Epic Universe should take roughly 30 minutes, including a stop at the Destination Parkway superstop, a possible stop at the Helios Grand Hotel, and then Epic Universe.
From Epic Universe, the Orlando International Airport is roughly a 45-minute trip.
Single-ride fares are $2 per rider. You can purchase an all-day pass for $4.50 and a 7-day pass for $16. For comparison, a Lyft ride share trip would cost anywhere from $15 to $25, each way.
We have not personally used the LYNX bus service, so I can’t speak to the quality of the service, but it will certainly be your cheapest option if you are traveling between Walt Disney World and Epic Universe this summer.
