A recently posted audition has confirmed that Walt Disney World plans on bringing the popular Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular stage show back to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year. There are actually two auditions posted for most roles within the show. Here’s the latest.
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular Show Returns in 2025
The first casting notice is for vocalists in the show. During the show, the Sanderson Sisters attempt to concoct a potion with the help of some fan favorite Disney villains. Here’s the casting notice for the Sanderson Sisters.
ONLINE SUBMISSIONS: Vocalists for Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular
Disney Live Entertainment is accepting online submissions from female presenting vocalists who are local to Central Florida for Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, performed at the Magic Kingdom® Park at the Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando, FL.
The mischievous Sanderson Sisters from Disney’s “Hocus Pocus” return to the mortal world during the Halloween season. With only a few hours to run amuck, the three sisters use their magic to throw the best, most evil Halloween party this side of the graveyard!
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular will be presented exclusively during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Event held select nights at the Magic Kingdom® Park from August – October 2025. Rehearsals will begin in mid-July. Must have full availability August – October 31, 2025.
SEEKING:
- Winifred Sanderson: Winifred Sanderson is the leader of the Sanderson sisters and the main antagonist. She is the eldest and the wickedest of the sisters, as well as the most intelligent. She is very sensitive to people calling her ugly and she is prone to being melodramatic.
- Mary Sanderson: Mary Sanderson, the middle sister, is often complimenting and comforting Winifred as she constantly seeks her approval. She has the ability to sniff out the presence of children and loves to eat. She is the most observant of the three and she sports a crooked mouth.
- Sarah Sanderson: Sarah Sanderson is the youngest and most beautiful Sanderson sister. She is not particularly intelligent and she is often prancing around and goofing off. She uses a siren-like ability to lure children through song. She loves to play with people and hates those who reject her.
Performers will bring to life the Characters from Disney’s “Hocus Pocus”. Candidates must sing well, including tight harmony, excellent comic timing, and high movement ability.
Another casting notice is for dancers in the show.
ONLINE SUBMISSION: Dancers for Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular
Dancers with great jazz technique, who are proficient in multiple dance styles including commercial jazz, Fosse and hip hop. Good acting a plus; must be able to easily interact with Sanderson Sisters.
Walt Disney World has not confirmed dates yet for the 2025 edition of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party yet.
